IMPROVE MOOD
Live life in integrity with who you really are.
Individuals with ADHD suffer from emotional dysregulation. When you are in a low mood, you could have all the structure and tools that you need at your disposal but you still won't be able to do those things you want or need to do. These aids can help.
The 6 Minute Diary
The 6 Minute Diary
Individuals with ADHD suffer from negativity bias which results in a lot of negative thoughts and rumination. They also don’t pause to set their intention for the day or reflect on what went well that day to give themselves opportunities to improve.
The 6 minute diary helps individuals with ADHD develop a daily gratitude practice, set intentions for the day and reflect. It is achievable as the questions are specific and it only takes 3 minutes in the morning and 3 minutes at the end of the day.

Many individuals with ADHD suffer from Seasonal Affectation Disorder. When there is a lack of natural light, it can lead to individuals with ADHD feeling depressed, listless and fatigued, affecting both performance and mood. Light therapy lamps stimulate natural light to stimulate the body and improve mental alertness.

DBT Skills Card Deck
First developed for treating borderline personality disorder, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) has proven effective as treatment for a range of other mental health problems, especially for those characterized by overwhelming emotions, such as ADHD.
There is a workbook as well, but these cards make these important lessons visible and accessible. Make it a practice to draw a card each day and get it out in front of you in sight and in mind.
